A zoo keeper has died in a 'freak accident' following reports that someone had been mauled to death by a tiger.
Police
and the air ambulance confirmed they were called to a 'very serious
incident' at Hamerton Zoo in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire this morning.
Claims
circulated on social media that a tiger was on the loose at Hamerton
Zoo in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, but this was rubbished by police and
park officials.
Visitor
Pete Davis told how he believes a young female keeper may have been
injured after running into the tiger enclosure to help a colleague.
