Domino's rosters on all available staff for State of Origin decider with more than 300,000 pizzas expected to ordered tonight

Domino's has rostered on every available staff member in its NSW and QLD stores in anticipation of the influx of orders expected during the State of Origin decider.

The pizza giant said it expected to cook and deliver 330,000 pizzas on Wednesday night, more than double its usual Wednesday night order.

Domino's said it delivered more than 100,000 pizzas during Origin game one in NSW, but QLD came out on top for game two and ordered 1,000 more pizzas than its southern counterpart.

 'They're the equivalent of a busy Friday or Saturday night but compressed, as every person wants their meal to be delivered in a precise window around kick-off, or up to half-time,' Mr Knight said.
Domino's said the most popular pizzas ordered on Sate of Origin nights were pepperoni, meatlovers and the 'double bacon cheeseburger'.

Mr Knight said Domino's knew the night was an important one, and would 'leave everything on the field' just as the players did.

'Every store will be turning on their 'A Game'… our stores know the importance of tonight,' he said.
