Jose Mourinho claims Manchester United's season starts here

'Normally next week in Premier League is the start but we have an amazing chance to play the champions of Europe and to discuss a title so we go for it.' Mourinho told BT Sport.

'I'd prefer to give Victor Lindelof more time [to settle] but we have been forced by suspension and injury.

'Heat and humidity effects both but I don't think its a huge problem because pre-season was in the US and temperatures were high and we have to cope with it. We are professionals, we have to play until our limits and we are ready for that.'
